Meet Flip Or Flop Ft. Worth Stars Ashley And Andy Williams

Last week, HGTV premiered its latest addition to the Flip or Flop franchise, Flip or Flop Ft. Worth. And along with it, came the network’s latest starts Ashley and Andy.

So who are Ashely and Andy Williams? Let’s take a closer look at the pair and find out. According to HGTV, both are military veterans turned house flippers. Ashley was in the United States Army while Andy was a member of the Marine Corps. The couple actually met in a gym while serving in Baghdad, Iraq. Andy asked her if she needed a personal training, they got to know each other and the rest is history.

Ashley and Andy tell HGTV that their work in real estate actually helped them adjust to civilian life after leaving the military. Ashley said what she picked up in the military didn’t translate too well with her first civilian job.

“I got a new job and immediately my job said, ‘You’re great, you do your job awesome, but you’re too intense,’” Ashley told HGTV. “She said I didn’t fit the culture because I was too direct.”

Andy had already started investing in properties so he asked Ashley to join him in what has now become quite the lucrative family business.

The couple ended up on HGTV after they met someone in the business while vacationing. They initially got to shoot a pilot episode called “Flipping Texas” that aired on HGTV earlier this year. That went so well, that they got the green light to join the Flip or Flop franchise. And here we are.

And after watching the first episode, I think they make a wonderful addition to the HGTV line-up. I love that they run their flips like an actual military operation. I noticed it while watching, and they would agree that’s exactly how they operate.

“Andy is amazing at finding deals. He is a true recon marine!” Ashley tells HGTV. “I’m really good at keeping the end goal in sight. It’s really easy to get tied up in a flip trying to create your dream home when really you’re creating someone else’s dream.”

“Ashley commands her role, and I stay out of her way. She respects my role, as well,” Andy added. “We always have a plan to execute.”
