HGTV’s “Property Brothers” recently announced on Instagram they had kicked off their filming for new episodes there in Nashville and now they’re offering locals a chance to be featured in the series for this upcoming series!
You really can get to be on the show, but there are a few requirements before you can have Jonathan and Drew Scott over to help you on your housing adventures. First, you’ve got to live near Nashville and/or be moving to the area. If you’re buying an all-done house then that won’t be right for the show, it has to be a fixer-upper!
Think you can handle the pressures of television? Nervous about the cameras? Well you better get over it because they want you to be, “outgoing, energetic, opinionated and fun.” And you better be ready to make quick decisions and be ready for up to 10 days of filming over 6-7 weeks. Huh, don’t they always take about six weeks??
Perhaps most importantly, you will need to have a minimum renovating budget of $70,000. Yes, they provide a “contribution towards your renovation,” but you’ve gotta be ready to plop down a lot of cash too if you want to be on the show for HGTV.
