HGTV’s new series “Fixer Upper Behind The Design” will air its sneak peek episode this March before going back on hiatus until the series makes its full debut later this year on HGTV’s schedule lineup.
Announced just this week by HGTV, the new series is a companion show to their top rated “Fixer Upper” and will likewise feature home renovator and designer couple Chip and Joanna Gaines. So when is Fixer Upper Behind The Design on? Get ready!
The “Behind The Design” pilot airs on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 11/10c with a 30-minute episode titled “The Little Shack On The Prairie.” We’ll be watching Joanna Gaines help a family of four makeover a three bedroom house in desperate need of improvements.
HGTV.com’s David Haynes describes the challenge ahead as significant:
This is one job with some rather extraordinary challenges. Let’s just say “total overhaul” is an understatement when it comes to this project.
We can’t wait to see what Joanna and Chip have in store for us with their new Fixer Upper spinoff. It’ll be even harder to wait after the sneak peek teaser episode that leaves us waiting until later in 2017 for the rest of the series to begin!
While we wait, check out Joanna’s post about the adventure ahead and what we can expect in the new Fixer Upper series:
